Scout’s read
Two independent source types point to an active transition window. Budget remains unconfirmed.
01
1. Set the objective
Start with the decision, not a fixed keyword list. Describe what could change, whose activity matters, and what action a finding should inform.
Define entities, markets, themes, and exclusions
Agree a useful reporting cadence
Mark urgent conditions that should interrupt the cadence
02
2. Build the source map
BitSkout will propose public sources that fit the objective—company sites, notices, filings, repositories, product updates, news and specialist publications. Coverage will be scoped and reviewable; it will never mean the entire internet.
Source discovery is objective-specific
Robots, access controls, and source terms matter
Attribution stays attached to each observation
03
3. Separate change from noise
Repeated coverage and superficial edits should be grouped so analysts can focus on materially new evidence. A signal remains an observation until it is supported and interpreted.
04
4. Connect the finding
Related observations are assembled into a timeline showing what changed, which sources support it, where evidence conflicts, and what remains unknown.
05
5. Publish the field brief
Teams receive a concise read, source trail, confidence rationale, open questions, and a recommended next step. Human judgment remains responsible for the decision.
